Red face A difficult subject

Ill leave it up to you all to discuss or not ( of course )

But something that has always lingered out there is heaven forbid if anything would happen to one of us, how would you like to be " honored "

The recent death down in CINCI and even last years with Ohio Riders loosing a member it freshens the memory..

You can PM me if youd like or post something also..

On one site when a user passed they planned a big post funeral party and there was quite the discussion if this was appropriate, on junkies in cinci they did this for stu :
http://www.assfaultjunkies.com/ ( video on greet page )

For me personally thats the last thing I would want if God forbid my number comes up..

For me personally :

Sure Id like some members and friends to show to my funeral, and perhaps in time gather at nice spot and do a nice ride / tribute.. BUT FOR SURE, no where near my mom or family, they hate bikes and my Mom would be mortified..

The matter of passing is never an easy one to talk about so Its ( obviously ) a personal choice to post or not..

Nice replies.. Its a tuff thing to talk about as bikers..

Im mostly talking about your funeral / service.. Id love everyone for sure to come out ( im getting cremated so I guess I mean SERVICE ) but I wouldnt want any bikes THERE... Later heck yea a nice tribute would be awesome..

I watched the video of the junkie and they were doing burnouts at the gravesite.. Just got me thinking is all....

Last year when we did that Tribute ride and we spoke of the few on here that have passed and talked about doing that ride in the future... Alot of those things also hit home.. I was really day dreaming all day ya know..

Awesome song :

Very good song.

By far I dont want any sadness at my funeral. Make it fun with smiles all around.

Being that I came the closest I ever have this past summer, I would say I dont want any morning. I want to be known for living my life to the fullest. So I say party and NO saddness. Now with that said I have done alot of soul serching since I decided to meet the back of a minni van. I have just a few thoughts to share.
1 Always tell the ones you care about how you feel no matter what.
2 Always wear your gear and safety devices. Yes I am guilty of not doing this.
3 Live life to the fullest.
4 Never live in fear. Fear will rule you so don't let it.
5 I have never been prouder to be part of anything like I am of TSBR.

I was able to listen to my dying sisters wishes for her funeral and that help me.
I am sure it helped her as well but for those that loved her being involved, meant a lot.
Sort of a different situation, as she had several weeks to get everything arranged, but still sort of the same, as we all know we are going to go sooner or later...hopefully later.
A living will is a must. I have told Lori not to let me lay there poopin myself.
I would like to have as many people fill the Church as possible.
And like others have said, celebrate my life rather than any loss.

This is the toast I give every New Years eve to my pal Joe Died 09-24-08.

"There are good ships, the wood ships, the ships that sail the sea,
But the best ships are the friendships, and may they always be."

I would like TSBR to lead the hurst to the grave yard. Also I would like to have the Marine corp and TSBR flags flown on the way there and at my site. Then have you guys do a burnout or wheelie or something.

On a more serious note....(j/k bout the long hair )
I have never had a dream where I died.
I'd like to see what that means...the drowning thing.
