Default Bench Press Comp

If anyone is a member of the YMCA/JCC, there will be a bench press comp on the 20th at the new West Toledo Y. If anyone is interested in more details, let me know and I will post them up.....thought I would throw this out there....the Y is using this as a fundraiser....it is broken down into age and weight classes.....not a sanctioned event by any PL orgs, just a fun day to see what you have!!! I will be competeing in the 30-39 year old class and the 220.1-275 weight class.....would love to see some forum people out there.....

Not to intimidated any one but I am a meberof the Y and I am 35yrs old 205lbs and can put 95 lbs up like 4 times. That's right I will give you a minute to wrap your head around that...................................... Yep I am a monster. haahahahaha

if this was about 8 years ago i'd be in lol..i cant hardly bench crap anymore since i fubarred my left rotator cuff a few years back..never got it fixed(i heard the horror stories lol)..maybe put 50 lbs. on one side and and 110lbs. on the other hahahaha..

My best were 275 at 153lbs and 285lbs at 170lbs. Unfortunetly I've been slacking and doubt I'd be able to get up much more then 235-245 at 180 right now.

i did 315 on the decline 3 times and i hit the rack on the way up on the 3rd one. killed my momentum.

hahaha.... not having ever really worked out, I got in to bally's for a month with a friend. We took two days to get my form down so I wouldn't destroy my face if I was going to drop the bar, then threw up 100 lbs 3 times....

I weighed in at 106 lbs.

94% of my body weight on what was basically the first go.

ive been working out but cant say i bench alot. ive never maxed out because i think your not gettin anything in return. i generally throw up 135 then bump to 145 in sets. not trying to get big just weight loss and cardio.

how is the competition set just curious?

wonder if its worth it or anyone else who is my age and in 150-155lbs that can push lil over 250 for our size hmm . i had surgery few weeks ago and havent lifted so i think ill sit at home on this one or id be all over it haha

doing my sets i get up to 190 for my last set of 2...

mid 250's was my 2 set in high school.
